Deleting Tasks, Stages, Jobs, and Projects
To prevent accidental deletion of data, TrafficLIVE requires data to be deleted from the bottom up.
For example, if you get an error message when you attempt to delete an item, it means that there are items further down the hierarchy that you must delete first. The following table describes the project hierarchy.
Project Hierarchy | Notes |

Project | To delete a project, you must first delete all related jobs and quotes.
After you have confirmed those deletions, on the Financials page, click the Add Job button, hover over the project that you want to delete, then click the to delete the project. |
Job | To delete a job, all tasks that make up the job must be completely unassigned, free from dependencies, and have no timed logged against them. There must also be no purchases, actual expenses, or invoices made against the job.

Stage | To delete a stage, you must remove all tasks from the stage. Drag the tasks in the stage out of the stage, then select the stage. The Remove Stage button is then enabled; click it to delete the stage. |
Task | To delete a task, it must be completely unassigned, free from dependencies, and have no time logged against it.
